I got this machine to replace my 10-stitch Brother that I got several years ago. This thing sew like a DREAM compared to the other machine. I use it to sew my products for my Etsy shop and the buttonholes are definitely easier to make and attaching buttons is so simple with this machine! My handmade wallets thank Brother for creating such an amazing machine! It also made me watch a few episodes of Project Runway when I had time!

I replaced my old White Westinghouse with this wonderful machine after conducting a great deal of online research. My enthusiasm had waned a great deal, because the old machine constantly jammed, the bobbin winder broke, etc etc. You know- I developed a negative association thing for sewing. I've now had the Brother for about three weeks and have completed five garments: four men's button-down shirts (different styles including a nice dress shirt) and a dress for my Mom. I've sewn thus far with with shirting cotton, cotton blends, and linen. To date this machine has never jammed or performed in any way in a non-suitable manner. The stitches and tension are always accurate, and I could never imagine how simple buttonholes could be to make. I absolutely love it, and my joy for sewing has returned 150%. My only regret is having waited so long.

I have always wanted to sew. Both of my grandmothers, my mother, and my sister all sew, so I felt left out. After researching sewing machines, I really like all the different stitches that this one had, so I purchased it at Wal-Mart. I had never turned on a sewing machine, so I was completely lost when I took it out of the box. However, the instruction book is very helpful and in about 30 minutes, I was sewing basic stitches. I have made so many things on this machine and I love it. I can't wait to get home from work to create new things. Brother has sold me on all their products with this sewing machine.
